I didn't realize the chateau was also a B&B, it would definitely be a beautiful place to stay. The Garden Wandererhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16598845282855975458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-520704682053936566.post-53627065368770525082012-07-02T19:49:01.193+02:002012-07-02T19:49:01.193+02:00Last September, we visited the "Tomato Prince...Last September, we visited the "Tomato Prince" and Chateau la Bourdaisiere. After the tour of the Chateau and grounds, we picked tomatoes and then had a gourmet meal made from those tomatoes. Every course and every food item was made from tomatoes - aperitif to dessert. It was divine. The Chateau is a B&B - so well worth a visit and staying overnight or several.Bobnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-520704682053936566.post-87417672057840035162011-04-19T20:54:38.640+02:002011-04-19T20:54:38.640+02:00Thank you very much Linda! I'd like to link my blog http://lindalou-sheeplessinhoneymoonbay.blogspot.com/
to the garden wanderer next month. Check it out when you have time. I'll be gardening with long-distance grandchildren for the next two weeks!Linda Bowenhttp://lindalou-sheeplessinhoneymoonbay.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-520704682053936566.post-53193257887390910932010-03-26T21:18:42.008+01:002010-03-26T21:18:42.008+01:00I'm glad you've been enjoying Recreating E...I'm glad you've been enjoying Recreating Eden - I really think it's such a brilliant show. I wish I had access to Vision here to watch some of the new(er) episodes, instead always re-watching the first 3 seasons on DVD (still enjoyable though). The Garden Wandererhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16598845282855975458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-520704682053936566.post-86071774317497624052010-03-26T04:33:20.264+01:002010-03-26T04:33:20.264+01:00I discovered heirloom tomatoes after growing my ow...I discovered heirloom tomatoes after growing my own for the first time last year. I would absolutely delight in visiting such a fantastic garden. (And unlike you, would probably not have been able to resist 'harming' a few ;))

Since first reading this post and your side note about 'Recreating Eden', I have subscribed to VisionTV and am enjoying it very much.
